Multicare Community Services Surpasses Its First Give Miami Day Goal, Raising $32,500
Multicare Community Services proudly celebrated a major milestone this year: its first-ever participation in Give Miami Day, where the organization exceeded its fundraising goal and raised an extraordinary $32,500 from 28 generous donors. This achievement marks a powerful moment of growth and community support for an organization devoted to empowering individuals with disabilities through vocational training, life skills development, and inclusive community-based services.
Hosted annually by The Miami Foundation, Give Miami Day continues to be one of the most significant single-city giving events in the nation. This year, more than 60,000 donors came together to support over 1,400 nonprofit organizations, contributing nearly $43.8 million in 24 hours—an inspiring testament to Miami’s collective generosity and commitment to shaping a more inclusive community.
For Multicare Community Services, participating for the first time was both a celebration and a catalyst for deeper impact. “These donations go far beyond dollars—they represent opportunity, dignity, and pathways to independence for the individuals we serve. Exceeding our goal in our very first year shows how much our community believes in our mission, and we are profoundly grateful,” said Vivianka Lavin, Board Chair & Co-Founder.
Multicare Community Services was created from a heartfelt promise: to never leave behind those who need support the most. Today, the organization is working to become a model for person-centered services in Miami-Dade County, empowering underserved communities through accessible healthcare, education, and social services that foster well-being and self-sufficiency. The funds raised on Give Miami Day will directly support this vision, helping expand programs and critical support services so more individuals can access the resources and opportunities they need to lead empowered, purposeful lives.
A special thank-you goes to our two leading donors, Reliable CPA and RIO Construction whose contributions were instrumental in Multicare’s success. Their generosity, combined with the heartfelt support of families, friends, and community partners, made this accomplishment possible.
Reflecting on the outpouring of support, Executive Director Amanda Cruz shared: “We are deeply moved by the kindness and generosity shown to Multicare. Every donor—whether they gave $10 or $10,000—helped us create more opportunities for the individuals we proudly serve. We are thankful beyond words and energized to continue expanding our impact in the year ahead.”
Give Miami Day 2025 marks the beginning of a new chapter for Multicare Community Services—one defined by growth, community partnership, and an unwavering commitment to empowerment and inclusion. To our donors, families, volunteers, partners, and supporters: thank you. You helped make history for Multicare, and your belief in our mission will continue to uplift lives far beyond Give Miami Day.
